The yellowish calcified material formed on the surface of your teeth usually appears due to poor oral hygiene. The hardened mineral deposits of the saliva, bacterial debris and plaque mix together and form this unattractive teeth treat. The only way to avoid it is to brush your teeth after every meal which we all know is almost impossible.
The accumulation of tartar determines the inflammation of the gum tissue which is named in medical terms gingivitis and the most common symptoms are inflammation and bleeding. Gingivitis is reversible with good oral hygiene. However, in the absence of treatment, or if not controlled, gingivitis can progress to periodontitis, where the inflammation results in tissue destruction and alveolar bone resorption, which can ultimately lead to tooth loss.
Here is the method to help you maintain your lovely smile:
- 30 Grams nutshells
- 1 Cup of water
Put the nutshells in a pot with water. Boil the mixture for 20 minutes. When cool, strain, then soak your toothbrush in this liquid. Brush your teeth for 5 minutes.
Repeat the treatment 3 times a day and in 7-14 days approximately the plaque should disappear.
